Sherley Hall has traditionally
been a mostly-freshman residence hall, with usually about
75% of the 350 women being new students. Students in Sherley
are known for diversity. Sherley Hall is named for Andrew
Sherley, a trustee of both TCU and Brite Divinity School
from 1920 until 1945. The Sherley family have been and are
active supporters of the school. Some 40 members of the family
have attended TCU.
